Wow, all of them were amazing!!!
The one that seriously got to me was "Before The Law".
Many people were like,
"BORING!!! I hate it!!! It was confusing!!! What's the point of it???!!! Etc."
You see,
at first I said the same exact thing.
I didn't understand why the gatekeeper and the man just stood there for years in front of the door (gate).
Also, I didn't understand why the man stayed there begging the gatekeeper to open the door until he was close to his death.
Especially,
when the gatekeeper told the man that the door was always open just for him.
I was like,
HUH???
But then my friend Gaoly explain it to me and gave me her point of view.
That's when it hit me like...
BAM!!!
I went back to read it and yeah.
What she told me about it made sense!!!
HORRAY!!!
PLEASE PUT YOUR HANDS TOGETHER FOR GAOLY!!!
YEY!!!
*Cheers*

I LOVED THE THEME!!!
So the gatekeeper symbolized as the man's conscious.
When the man approached the gatekeeper (conscious), he begged him to get to the other side.
Basically, is when you say,
"I wanna try getting over that obstacle" and what ends up stopping you is,
YOUR CONSCIOUS.
Not your family, friends, or haters, but YOURSELF.
It tells you what it feels.
It may be negative or positive.
You have the power to choose whether or not you believe in it and whether or not you base your life on it.
Now, the sad thing is that once the man begs the gatekeeper to open the door, the gatekeeper tells him, "No" and that if he wants to, he's not stopping him.
He also that tells him that it won't be easy.
You see, life is not always gonna be a piece of cake.
You have to fight and prove yourself first that you can reach for what you want.
Well, sadly, the man didn't do this.
He just sat there, time passed by, he aged, and he never got anything done.
Once in a while, the man would take a peek on the other side.
The gatekeeper tells him that the gatekeepers on the other side are stronger and tougher.
This makes the man feel even worse.
He basically was a given a BIG, DELICIOUS, CHOCOLATE CAKE and all he did was admire it and crave it, but he never took a bite out of it.
It was ALL for him, but he never went for it.
That's what we always tend to do in life.
When we hear the word "HARD", we automatically assume that we won't be able to do it.
Before the man died, he begged the gatekeeper to allow him to take a glimpse of the other side.
The gatekeeper told him that the door was always open, just for him.
The man just had to try and try harder to get through, but sadly, it was all too late.
At least, he now understood why he couldn't get through.
That part there made me really sad.
There has been many times in life where I just gave up on something just because,
I told and believe myself that I couldn't do it.
I've learned my lesson and I'm not gonna say I don't face these circumstances,
but now I have the strength to break down any wall that gets in my way.
So yeah...
This was a powerful story.
THANK YOU CHEKHOV!!!
:D
(I HOPE I DIDN'T CONFUSE ANYONE!!!)
